Clarity. Confidence. Momentum.

If I’m capable of so much, what am I actually meant to be doing?

As a coach, I work with people asking that question. Often they're former athletes or people once labeled "high potential" who've succeeded by following a path laid out for them — and are now ready to choose more intentionally.

This isn't about abandoning ambition or lowering the bar. It's about choosing a version of success that actually feels like yours — and moving toward it with clarity and momentum.

Who I Work With

You’ll know this is for you if:

  • You’re capable, driven, and thoughtful — and still feel a bit restless or unsettled

  • You’ve been successful by meeting expectations and doing things “the right way” — in sports, school, or work

  • There’s a persistent inner voice asking whether you’re doing enough or choosing wisely

  • You want space to reflect, without having to perform, optimize, or already know the answer

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Many of my clients come from competitive or high-expectation environments — and feel a pull to slow down, quiet the swirl, and find a more grounded inner voice.

How I Can Help

I create space for a different kind of conversation—one where you're asked questions that don't often get asked, and where someone is truly listening for what's beneath the surface. I reflect back what I'm noticing: patterns, contradictions, possibilities you might not be seeing.

The container I create is sturdy and safe. You don't need to have everything figured out or know where you’re headed. There's space to explore wild ideas, stay with what’s uncomfortable, and get creative about what you actually want. The work is serious, but it doesn't have to feel heavy.

What we focus on is entirely driven by you—your agenda, your questions, your life. I might guide you through exercises to help you see things from a new angle, identify what's holding you back, or clarify what fulfillment actually looks like for you. But I won't tell you what to do. The answers are already in you; my job is to help you access them.

Clients often discover they're more capable than they realized, speak to themselves with more kindness, and feel genuinely excited to take action toward the life they want.

About Me

I’m Malaika — a professional coach who understands what it’s like to move through clearly defined paths of success.

I was a straight-A student and an Ivy League Division I water polo athlete, and I spent many years pursuing paths that rewarded effort, discipline, and achievement. I built a decade-long career in tech and startups, eventually leading coach operations strategy at BetterUp as it scaled from 50 to 3,500 coaches worldwide.

And still, I found myself asking: Am I building towards something I really want for myself?

Through coaching, reflection, and lived experience, I learned how to quiet the relentless inner critic and develop a steadier, more humane relationship with achievement — one rooted in internal trust rather than constant self-evaluation.

Today, I help others do the same.

This work isn't about getting answers from me. It's about creating a space where you can finally hear yourself—where someone is paying such close attention that patterns you couldn't see on your own become clear, and possibilities you didn't know you had permission to explore suddenly feel real. That's where the shift happens.
